BBC 6Music favourite Jack Jelfs describes his remix as a “magical working that breaks the spell of language”: the track begins simply, fusing the spoken words with Steve Reich-esque looping guitars and intricate electronic jazz drum patterns. As it progresses, the musical complexity grows and the words become increasingly layered, before finally collapsing into a maelstrom of distorted bass, sonic fragments and broken language.
